This year, millennials are set to become the largest voting group in the United States. However, there is little-to-no representation of this in policy outside of some key wins in the past midterm elections. Currently, the MTA, America's largest transportation organization, is seeking to raise fares in order to increase revenues. Fare hikes are detrimental to young voters as it impedes a group who are increasingly seeking work in cities.
This group seeks to be the microphone to raise concerns this vital group might have. Our platform is simple but deliberate. We're fighting like Hell for ADA accessibility, efficient service, and fares that don't price young people out of their communities/workplaces.
We're going to get this done through concentrated media campaigns, town halls where we listen to YOUR concerns, and equitable policy discussions. No one will be left behind. I hope you'll join us.
